What is the Relative Strength Index (RSI)




As its name indicates, RSI measures the relative strength of an asset.




The RSI measures recent gains against recent losses to show whether a currency is overbought or oversold. The chart operates on a scale from 0 to 100. Traditionally, an asset is classified as overbought when above 70 and oversold when it is below 30. On the chart above you can see the two boundaries marked by the dotted red lines.
