The transaction hash is a unique identifier of any transaction sent to the blockchain. Usually it consists of a string of numbers and letters and can be referred to by different services as the Transaction ID, hash, TXID, etc.
To find the hash for a transaction initiated using a service/wallet other than HitBTC, please open your payment history on that service and look up one of the above names.
The transaction hash for your HitBTC withdrawals can be found on the bottom of your Account page, the “Latest transactions” section, or on the Deposits and Withdrawals History tab on the Reports page.
In the “Latest transactions” section, the transaction hash can be seen by clicking the “?” button next to the status column. Please note that the hash is being formed within а certain period of time after the withdrawal has been initiated, and the amount of time depends on the current network load.
To locate your transaction in a block explorer, just click the transaction hash. This will open the page of this particular transaction on the block explorer website, and you will see its status.
In addition to the transaction hash, each transaction on HitBTC has its internal ID formatted as bqb389fa4-813a-47b6-e8fh-2ebe207c1a2h.
Please note that this ID is only associated with this transaction on HitBTC website; it will not help you locate your transaction in the block explorer.
When may you need your transaction ID? You will need to find your transaction ID if, for example, your withdrawal has been pending for an abnormally long time without a transaction hash. In this case the transaction ID is the only identifier for your withdrawal that you can use to submit a request to our Support Team. If this is the problem you’re having, please read this article.
Transfers between your main and trading accounts are reflected in the same section, but they do not have transaction hashes. These transfers are just the HItBTC internal transactions that are not sent to the blockchain.
